McGinn 11th in Silver State all-around

Four Baker riders helped the Oregon team place seventh at the Silver States International rodeo last weekend at Fallon, Nev.

Mike McGinn, Johnny Owens and Dylan Glock of the Baker High School rodeo team, and Tayler Kerns, an independent rider, were members of the Oregon team that scored 1,643.3 points. Utah won the team title with 8,183.3 points.

McGinn finished 11th in the boys all-around standings with 210 points. He was fifth in the saddle bronc competition and 10th in steer wrestling.

Owens finished eighth in bull riding, and Glock 11th.

Kerns was 48th in tie-down roping.
