Pine-Eagle girls advance in playoffs, Powder girls' season ends


The Pine-Eagle girls basketball team beat Echo 47-40 on Wednesday to advance to the second round of the Class 1A playoffs.

Powder Valley's girls team lost at Crane, 55-52, to end its season.

Pine-Eagle will play Saturday at Hosanna Christian in Klamath Falls. The time has not been set.

The winner of Saturday's game advances to the state tournament, Feb. 28 through March 2 at Baker High School. 

 

Baker girls win finale

MILTON-FREEWATER —Baker ended its Greater Oregon League girls basketball season Friday with a 59-30 victory over Mac-Hi.
