Powder girls fall to Lakers

Powder Valley joined local rival Pine-Eagle in the consolation bracket of the girls Class 1A state basketball tournament this evening with a 61-53 loss to Triangle Lake in the Baker High School gym.

The Badgers had won 10 straight games entering the tournament.

Powder Valley will play the loser of tonight's late game, between Harper and St. Paul, in a consolation semifinal game Thursday at 10:45 a.m.

Triangle Lake will play the Harper-St. Paul winner in a championship semifinal Friday at 6:30 p.m.
