Powder track at Umatilla

UMATILLA — The Powder Valley boys finished eighth and the girls 13th Friday at the Umatilla Icebreaker track and field meet.

The Badgers Kate Jones won the girls 100 hurdles in a time of 18.07, and was second in the 300 hurdles with a 55.82 clocking.

Trenton Dixon, the defending Class 1A boys high jump champion, placed second in that event with a leap of 5 feet, 8 inches.

Freshman Colton Eubanks was third in the boys 100 with a time of 11.66.
