Baker’s Trace Richardson has been selected to play in the 58th annual East-West Shrine All-Star Football Game July 31 at Bulldog Memorial Stadium. Richardson received word of his selection to the East roster in a letter last week. The 6-foot-3 senior receiver led the Bulldogs with 57 catches for 1,146 yards and nine touchdowns last season. He was named to the Greater Oregon League all-league team as a first-team receiver and second-team defensive back. Another Baker senior, Dekker Smith, was named as an East alternate. Smith was co-GOL defensive player of the year and first-team all-GOL at linebacker and tight end. Richardson and Smith received the Bulldogs outstanding senior award.
