Siuslaw ends Baker season

FLORENCE — Top-ranked Siuslaw ended Baker's bid for a third straight trip to the Class 4A football semifinals Saturday.

The Vikings (11-0) scored the final three touchdowns of the game, breaking an 18-14 Baker lead, on the way to a 35-18 quarterfinal victory.

Baker, the defending 4A champion, finished its season 8-3. Siuslaw hosts Central in a semifinal game next weekend at Hillsboro Stadum.
