Trailing 21-18, the Spartans rolled to a 31-22 advantage entering the fourth quarter. The Spartans went on to win 39-28. Celisa Digges led Pine-Eagle with six points in the run. Hailey Davis added four, and Marrianna Akers and Bri Thatcher two each. Powder Valley rode the six points of Alexandra Colton to a 9-6 lead after one period. Pine-Eagle then outscored the Badgers 10-4 in the second quarter to take a 16-13 edge at halftime. Eight points — including two three-pointers — by Ali Abrego gave Powder Valley a 21-18 lead with 5:05 left in the third quarter. Powder Valley could get no closer than seven points in the final quarter. Bri Thatcher led Pine-Eagle with 10 points. Abrego topped Powder with 13 points. Colton added 10.
