Three down, in four-match week

Baker High School tennis teams have had a busy week of nonleague matches as they competed in three meets in just four days, with one more to come on Saturday.  

Monday the team was in Weiser, Idaho, and picked up a team win for the girls, and a mixed-doubles match.

Tuesday the Bulldogs were back in Baker City to play a makeup match with Nyssa. Thursday they met the Burns squad on their home court.  Baker played Nyssa and Burns with reduced squads on each day because of the small size of their teams, splitting most of the team between the two matches. Baker’s girls doubles and boys swept their matches against Nyssa, while in Thursday afternoon’s match against Burns, the team won every game and every match played.

The next test for the team will be Saturday at noon as they travel to La Grande.
