Local boy dies in dog attack

A 5-year-old Baker boy died as a result of an attack by a pitbull this morning, said District Attorney Matt Shirtcliff.

"The dog is in custody and is no further threat at this time," said Police Chief Wyn Lohner.

Also noted was that the attack did not occur at the child's home.

The boy's name wasn't released and investigation about the incident is continuing.
