Fleming, Harvey swap positions as candidates

Dick Fleming will now run against Mark Bennett, and BIll Harvey will challenge Fred Warner Jr.

Two Republicans running for positions on the Baker County Board of Commissioners have swapped places.

Dick Fleming, who initially filed to run against Fred Warner Jr., the incumbent commission chairman who is seeking another four-year term, has withdrawn. Fleming refiled to run against incumbent commissioner Mark Bennett.

Bill Harvey, meanwhile, who originally was going to run against Bennett, now will challenge Warner in the May primary

Harvey and Fleming made the changes today at the Baker County Clerk's office.
