To the editor:

The measure on the middle school, 01-34, is a flawed and confusing document. The ballot summary tells us that this is a vote on a new school built on some ground to be purchased. This means a new building at the edge of town off Hughes Lane. Any voter who wishes to have the present buildings remodeled or a new building built on the present school site has no options on this ballot as written.

A vote for a building at the edge of town is a vote that would saddle the taxpayers of the district with paying for busing every child to and from school every day for the next half century. This calls for a no vote.
