Letters to the Editor for Sept. 15, 2010

Don't let Osama

bin Laden win

To the editor:

I was amazed and distressed by the cartoon on the Opinion page of the Aug. 27 paper.

Years ago Osama bin Laden vowed "to make Americans live their lives differently." If we continue to tolerate hate crimes, if we fight against a mosque being built two blocks from Ground Zero in the International district of NYC and if we run comics on the local paper such as the one run in the Aug. 27 paper on the opinion page we can kiss our Constitution goodbye. Our Constitution is what makes America great. It must be protected or Osama has accomplished his goal.
