Baker returns seven players from last year's Greater Oregon League volleyball runnersup.

Coach Michele McCauley is hoping that that core group can make this season a success.

"These girls play pretty well together," McCauley said.

"We're pretty well rounded. That's what I mean about playing well together.

"We don't have a lot of height, so ball control will be very important for us," McCauley said.

"Consistency will be a key for us."

The returning players are Monica Voboril, Michelle Birkmaier, Ashley McConniel, Taylor McAdams, Abi Smith, and Michelle Freese.

Newcomers will be Sami Searles and Liz Wulk.

"We're starting out with nine varsity players and looking to see if a couple of junior varsity players might step up," McCauley said.
