Baker finished 12th in the boys race, and 15th in the girls race in Division II of the 38th annual Bob Firman Invitational cross country race at Eagle Island State Park near Boise Saturday.

The Baker boys finished with a score of 290, and the girls 454.

"Almost all of our student-athletes ran season bests," said Baker coach Mike Knutson.

"Something I attribute to their hard work in the first phase of the season. We have much more work to do if we are to win districts, but overall, an impressive showing by the Bulldogs."

Nic Maszk was Baker's top boys finisher, placing fourth in a time of 16:58.23.

Evan Krohn was 41st (18:25.45), Connor Yates 85th (19:19.75), Nate Baeth 100th (19:42.85), Tyler Gassin 106th (19:51.04), Collin Hessel 113th (20:02.67), and Ian Krohn 129th (20:40.83).
