Brie Sand's goal late in the second half lifted Baker to a 3-3 tie against Payette Tuesday in a nonleague girls soccer match in a driving rain at the Baker Sports Complex.

The Bulldogs trailed 3-2 earlier in the half after playing to a 2-2 deadlock at halftime.

Payette opened the scoring about a minute into the game.

Baker then answered with a pair of goals from Erin Parker before Payette evened the score just before halftime.

Neither team scored in the first 20 minutes of the second half.
