The Class 1A Old Oregon League could have a new look beginning next season.

The league could lose two current members and add three from the Big Sky League if the Oregon School Activities Association Executive Board accepts the final recommendation of the OSAA Classification and Districting Committee Oct. 28.

The executive board will meet that day at Wilsonville to receive a final round of public testimony on the proposed new 2014-2018 four-year time block.

Following the testimony, the board will conduct a work session during which the final recommendation could be adopted.

In the proposal, current OOL members Imbler and Cove would move to the Class 2A Blue Mountain Conference.

Current members Powder Valley, Pine-Eagle, Joseph and Wallowa then would be joined by Echo, Griswold (Helix) and Nixyaawii to form a new 7-team Old Oregon League.
