Baker girls basketball coach Jenny Mowe-Joseph is hoping another year's experience will benefit her team.

Baker's biggest problem a year ago was putting points on the scoreboard. Mowe-Joseph is hoping the Bulldogs can remedy that this season.

"We're a work in progress," Mowe-Joseph said.

"I'm seeing some good things. We have a good group of underclassmen. I think we'll have more leadership on the floor. It definitely will be better than last year."

The Bulldogs return just two seniors - Allie Brown and Erin Bachman.

Other returning players are Summer Phillips, Whitney Lemmon, Michelle Lehman, Brie Sand, Emily Tatlock and Michelle Freese.

Newcomer Grace Huggins rounds out the roster.

"I think we'll have a decent outside game," Mowe-Joseph said.

"We'll be undersized at the post position, but very agile."
