Baker's' nonleague girls basketball game at Pendleton Thursday was a tale of two halves.

The Bulldogs scored just 11 poins before halftime, then tallied 28 in the second half before falling 63-39 to the Lady Bucks.

"The first half was pretty aweful," said Baker coach Jenny Mowe-Joseph.

" The second half was a lot better. We had a great fourth quarter."

The Bulldogs outscored Pendleton 18-12 in the quarter.

Baker finished the game 12-of-42 from the field despite hitting just 2-of-15 in the first half.

"We had some good lessons tonight. The girls played hard all the way through," Mowe-Joseph said.

Allie Brown led the Bulldogs with 10 points.

Brie Sand added four points, four assists, four steals and a blocked shot.

Whtiney Lemon had seven points and five rebounds, Summer Phillips four points and nine rebounds (seven offensive), Michelle Lehman a point and two rebounds, Emily Tatlock six points and eight rebounds, Erin Bachman seven points and four rebunds, Gracie Huggins a rebound, and Kylie Severson a rebound.

Baker travels to Burns Saturday.
