Ontario broke a 51-51 tie with 2:37 left in the game, outscoring the Bulldogs 6-2 the rest of the way.
Baker had its opportunities in the final seconds to tie or take the lead, but didn't get the breaks.
"We gave ourselves a chance to win," said Baker coach Joel Richardson.
"We got the looks we wanted but didn't get any calls.
"We had our chances to knock down the shots, and we got fouled but there were no calls," Richardson said.
"The kids played darn hard to give themselves the chance to win."
With the score knotted at 51-51, Ontario made four free throws to take a 55-51 edge with 31.9 seconds left.
A basket by Mason Cline cut Baker's deficit to 55-53 with 7.3 seconds left.
Ontario added two more free throws with four seconds remaining.
Cline, Baker's lone senior, led all scorers with 29 points, including 22 in the first half.
"I thought our kids played hard for our senior and our senior played hard for his teammates," Richardson said.
The teams battled to a 16-16 draw after one quarter.
Baker then used 13 points from Cline to take a 29-27 halftime lead.
The teams then went back and forth in the third period until Baker scored the final five points in the quarter - three by Aiden Hayes and two by Logan Sand - for a 45-40 edge.
The teams then battled through three more ties before Ontario pulled away.
