Season passes go on sale for Holcomb, Hewitt parks

Beginning Friday, season passes for parking and launching at Holcomb and Hewitt parks will go on sale. The cost is $35 and may be purchased any time during the calendar year of 2007 as well as the month of December 2006.

The pass is good for one year starting Jan. 1, 2007, and expiring on December 31, 2007.

Or pick up an application at the Hewitt Park Office in Richland or at the Baker County Parks office, 2960 Broadway St. in Baker City, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Gift certificates are available for those who would like to purchase a pass for someone else.

The season pass is good for day-use parking and launching only and does not pertain to overnight camping. Reservations are always accepted for overnight camping, but are not necessary to stay in the park.
