Joelle Bain and Kevin Johnson have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ken and Kristi Bain of Haines. She is a 2004 graduate of Powder Valley High School and is pursuing a special education degree at Eastern Oregon University.
Johnson is the son of Larry and Barbara Johnson of Imbler. He is a 2001 graduate of Imbler High School, and earned a degree in physical education and business in 2006 from Eastern Oregon University. He works for Valley Concrete Pumping in La Grande.
The couple plan a wedding for June 16, 2007 at 4 p.m. at the Bingaman Pond in Imbler. Pastor Robin Harris will officiate. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
The couple will honeymoon on the Oregon Coast.
