Cassie Scrivner and Ben Brown will be married May 24, 2007, at the Portland Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple.
There will be a reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Geiser Grand Hotel.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Rick and Barb Scrivner of Baker City. She is a 2002 Baker High School graduate, and will graduate from Brigham Young University in June with a degree in dietetics. She is a counselor at New Haven Treatment Center in Provo, Utah.
Brown is the son of Kelly and Sharon Brown of Pendleton. He is majoring in Spanish with a business minor at Brigham Young University and will graduate in December.
