Measure 49 restricts rights

To the editor:

Scarlett's father tells Scarlett: "It's the land Scarlett, it's the land. It's the only thing that lasts" and I might add "except for the socialist do-gooders who have their noses in and hands on my private property rights. And so cheap too."

I pay for my land and the taxes and keep it environmentally sound and yet endure restrictions and impositions on top of each other without consideration and compensation. In fact, over the past 25 years I have created a lush and productive riparian for wildlife habitat and stream health. Think about that, you do-gooders. We property owners know more about how to best take care of the land than you do.

C'mon all you do-gooders — if you insist on your fingers on my land and property rights, at least offer some kind of compensation. Thank you, and vote against 49. It imposes further restrictions and these sweethearts are not telling you about the devil in the details of 49.
