TERRY MARR

Terry Marr, 55, of Baker City, died March 11, 2012 in North Powder.  The family will be handling the services at a later date.

I am writing my dad’s obituary because I know he would want me to.  Many of his hobbies included hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and of course snowmobiling.

I have been wracking my brain as to what he would want said.  He always liked things short and sweet.  Everyone keeps saying he worked hard and he played hard, which everyone who knew my father would agree.

It was rare to ever find him at home, he never liked being stuck in the house.  His favorite place to hunt was the Minam with his best friend, Keith McGinnis.  He loved to stand around and talk with his friends.  He would talk boating and snowmobiling with one of his best friends, Pat Conley.  As well as trucking with his friends, Rob and Windy Pierce.

He left behind his wife Paula, of Haines; daughter, Kodie, of Haines, daughter, Tia Page and her husband Justin, of Baker City, son, Randy Mauldin and his wife Robin, of Roseville, CA; brother, Carl of Ryndon, NV, and mother Lillian, of Haines.  He loved and was greatly loved by his two granddaughters, Akeena Page and Natalie Mauldin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norville Marr.

He was loved by many people from all across the United States and he will be greatly missed by friends and family everywhere.

Donations may be made to the Terry Marr Memorial Fund through Coles Tribute Center.
