Obituary for Aug. 24, 2012

Linda Vanette Holloway, 57, died Aug. 21, 2012, at St. Alphonsus Medical Center-Baker City. 

Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.


Linda was born on Dec. 29, 1954, at Dallas, Texas, to James Tidwell and Dorothy Williamson Pool. Linda attended Sunset High School.

She married Don Bonneville on Dec. 24, 1971, at Dallas, Texas. She had many hobbies, including cross-stitch, painting, scrapbooking, ceramics, jewelry making, and beading. Linda was affiliated with Best Friends of Baker Humane Society.

Linda’s greatest accomplishment was having her son Donnie Bonneville.

Survivors include her son, Donnie Bonneville, and his wife, Wendy, of Baker City; grandson, Jack Bonneville of Baker City; two granddaughters, Alexis Munkers of Baker City and Rebekka Sherman of Boise; her mother, Dorothy, and her husband, Larry Williamson, of Canton, Texas; stepmother, Dotty Tidwell of Duncanville, Texas; brother, Tom, and his wife, Dawn Tidwell, of Plano, Texas; sister, Becky, and her husband, Pat Thompson, of Boring; and a brother, Fred, and his wife, Jane Bradford, of Wylie, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Tidwell; and her companion, Bitty Dog.
