The Leopards scored the first seven points of the game on the way to defeating Pine-Eagle 59-22. Colten DeMeerleer and Brandon Batty each scored four points in the period as Cove forged a 16-4 advantage. The Leopards then scored the first dozen points of the second period to complete a 21-0 run, and led 28-4. Cove led 31-7 at halftime. Cove continued to build its lead to 44-9 before Pine-Eagle finally reached double digits on Tanner Hamby’s free throw with 2 minutes left in the third quarter. DeMeerleer led three Cove players in double figures with 12 points. Derrick Murchison and Hunter Reddington each added 10 points. Ray Denig led Pine-Eagle with six points.
