Baker’s young girls tennis team saw its season come to an end Thursday at the Greater Oregon League district tournament at Nyssa.

The Bulldogs won just two first-round matches.

Megan Burk won her first singles match in straight sets.

Devon Galiszewski and Delaney Kee did likewise in their first doubles match.

“It was a huge learning year for us,” said Baker coach Amy Younger.

“I’m very proud of the girls.”
