Columbia Christian stormed out to a 34-7 lead after one quarter and went on to dominate Triangle Lake 97-38 in a Class 1A state boys basketball quarterfinal game Thursday at Baker High School.

The Knights led 60-16 at halftime, shooting 68 percent from the field and 56 percent from three-point range.

Isaac Bonton led the way with 19 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field and 8-of-9 shooting from the free throw line.

Kameron Chatman added 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting, and Arkadiy Mkrtychyan had 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting.

Columbia Christian held an 19-10 rebounding edge in the first half, and forced 18 Triangle Lake turnovers.

Bonton finished with 23 points, five assists and five steals.

Chatman,  Mkrtychyan and Robert Bristol each added 15 points, and Luke Moody 11.

Carson Wynn topped Triangle Lake with 10 points.
