FUNERAL PENDING

Julie Hardesty: Her funeral will be Saturday, March 18, at 11 a.m. at the Richland Grange Hall (the former Richland Elementary School at the corner of Moody Road and Main Street). Interment will be at Eagle Valley Cemetery in Richland. Friends are invited to join the family for a reception at the Grange Hall after the interment. ASSAULT IV (Baker County Circuit Court warrant): Derrick Lee Schisler, 32, of Huntington, 4:17 p.m., Wednesday; jailed.

POST-PRISON SUPERVISION VIOLATION (Parole and Probation violation): James Robert Blitch, 46, of 2339 East St., 6:35 p.m. Wednesday, at Main Street and Valley Avenue; jailed.

Baker City Fire Dept.

Firefighters responded to a structure fire at 2135 Auburn Ave. Wednesday at 7:43 p.m. The resident, Joel Davis, said he found the fire in a shed after a circuit breaker tripped. He used a garden hose to extinguish most of the fire. Damage was estimated at $4,000. The property is owned by Trish Brinton.
