VEHICLE THEFT (Idaho warrant): Matthew David Brooks, 28, of Boise, 7:49 p.m. Friday, at the Baker County Jail where he is bring held on other charges.
On the Hells Canyon Overlook Road about one-fourth of a mile from the overlook, at 4:41 p.m. Saturday, Joshua Landin, 42, of McMinnville lost control of his motorcycle while traveling about 20 mph and slid across the road, said Sheriff Travis Ash. Landin was transported by the Halfway ambulance to St. Alphonsus Medical Center with rib injuries, Ash said. An earlier call for the Life Flight air ambulance was canceled by the patient, Ash said.
