- The Herald does not publish routine thank you letters.
- The Herald does not publish poetry.
- The Herald does not publish offensive material.
- The Herald does not publish unsubstantiated claims. If an information source other than a newspaper is used, the writer must reference where the information can be found.
- The Herald does not publish business complaints.
- The Herald does not publish business solicitations.
- The Herald reserves the right to edit or reject any letter.
