CONTEMPT OF COURT (Baker County Circuit Court warrant): Jacob Daniel Walker, 26, of 2450 Broadway St., 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at the sheriff’s office; jailed.
At Campbell and East streets, 9:37 p.m. Tuesday; Police Chief Wyn Lohner said a 2002 Subaru Legacy driven by Melissa Carey, 31, of 2787 Third St., was traveling east on Campbell Street at East Street when the mirror of her vehicle clipped Trevor Custer, 19, of 14751 Goodrich Creek Lane, who reportedly was weaving in an out of the bike lane on Campbell Street and into traffic on a skateboard. Lohner said skateboard travel is not allowed on city streets. Custer was taken by Baker City ambulance to St. Alphonsus Medical Center where he was treated for a “nonserious injury,” Lohner said. No citations have been issued.
