FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, THEFT I, BURGLARY II, POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE and UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM: Jamess Robert Hensen, 30, of 1312 Court Ave., 8:18 p.m. Friday, in the 2200 block of 11th Street; jailed; police said Hensen entered a construction site owned by Bob Haynes, 67, of Baker City and removed a stereo system valued at $2,500. Police also recovered a 9 mm pistol valued at $260 belonging to Carl Wheeler, 32, of Baker City taken in January 2016, police said.
ASSAULT II, OFFENSIVE LITTERING and DISORDERLY CONDUCT: John Thomas Gregg, 61, of 2448 Madison St., 10:03 p.m. Saturday, at Eagle Crest and Elkhorn Drive; police said Gregg struck Corey Griggs, 33, of Baker City in the head with a glass after the two men got in an argument while traveling together in a cab. A Baker City ambulance responded but Griggs refused transport.
