City bans pot sales but accepts pot tax revenues

I read with interest the Baker City Herald article that Baker City was receiving $28,000 from the state of Oregon as their share of state marijuana tax revenues.

How ironic is that when in August 2015 the City Council passed Ordinance 3342 banning the producing, processing, wholesaling, selling and dispensing of marijuana in the city of Baker City.

I consider myself a person of strong moral character and pride myself in acknowledging the difference between right and wrong. I find it appalling the City would accept these dollars.
