Baker trailed 13-11 about a minute into the second quarter when Flanagan took over.

Flanagan scored eight straight points, and 10 of Baker’s points in a 12-0 run that gave the Bulldogs a 23-13 lead with 3:27 left in the half.

“I couldn’t be more proud of the girls, the way they continue to share the ball,” Sand said.

“Our defense starts our offense. And all of the girls are willing to sacrifice for the team.”

Pendleton did manage to cut Baker’s lead to nine points in the third quarter before the Bulldogs answered with an 11-0 run to build their cushion back to 20 points, 43-23, with 3:35 left in the quarter.

Baker returns to Greater Oregon League play Friday when the Bulldogs (2-0 in the GOL) travel to La Grande (also 2-0 in the GOL).
