Bulldogs rally past Nyssa

Baker rallied in the second half Tuesday to defeat Nyssa 5-3 in a nonleague boys soccer match at the Baker Sports Complex.

Two goals by Mauritz Ackermann and one by Colton Anderson gave Baker a 3-0 lead in the first half.

But Nyssa answered with three straight goals to forge a 3-3 tie at halftime.

Baker regained the lead for good in the second half when Omar Benites broke away from a pack of players and scored.

Jamisun Rigueiro added an insurance goal later in the half. Baker keeper Quinn Coomer had nine saves in the match.
