At 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, Lindsey Bingham had an offer for a new heart.

But she wouldn't find out for almost an hour, until both her parents could tell her - and video her reaction.

The video is posted on the Bingham's blog, www.jasonandstacybingham.blogspot.com.

Screaming - followed by happy tears - is the reaction from Lindsey, 9, who has been on the list for a heart transplant since June. She is at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, Calif.

Her parents, Jason and Stacy Bingham, have kept family, friends and strangers updated through their blog, and the post Tuesday night was titled "238, Lindsey's DAY."

That number marks how many days she's been on a Berlin Heart, a mechanical device that has kept her heart working.

She has dilated cardiomyopathy, the same condition that caused her older sister, Sierra, to undergo a heart transplant in 2006.

The final post from Tuesday night, at 11:50 p.m., told the news that the surgery wouldn't happen before noon today due to coordinated multiple donor recipients and different transplant centers.

The surgery is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Wednesday and will take about nine hours.

Tuesday night, Jason posted these thoughts on the blog:

"Had some pretty neat family prayers tonight. Shown a lot of gratitude for the blessing in our lives. We feel very blessed to be the situation we are in. It has been amazing to see the many wishes of love and support for so many people. The support is overwhelming.

"I try but honestly can not comprehend what the donor family must be going through. God bless the donor family."

He said he will update the blog throughout the day.
