DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF INTOXICANTS (Alcohol), FAILURE TO PRESENT OPERATOR’S LICENSE, UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM and RESISTING ARREST: Samath Oeung, 38, of Salt Lake City, 7:55 am. Friday, on Interstate 84, about 10 miles south of Baker City; jailed and later released. Police said dispatch received a driving complaint about a BMW 740 sedan traveling westbound on Interstate 84 near Huntington on Friday morning. The officer said when he was stopped, Oeung failed to produce a driver’s licence, registration or any other documents. Once a backup officer arrived, police arrested Oeung. Officers located a 9 mm handgun in the driver’s side pocket of his door. Oeung was identified by his fingerprints. The investigation is continuing and there is a possibility of other charges, police said.
