Kamia Marie Kasinger is the first baby born in 2018 at St. Alphonsus Medical Center-Baker City. Kamia was born at 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10, the daughter of Amanda Free and Justin Kasinger. Kamia weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and is 20 inches long. Both mother and baby are doing well. The hospital presented the family with a basket filled with baby clothes, diapers, blankets and other items parents of newborns need and enjoy.
