POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE (Usable quantity and two prior usable quantity possession of a controlled substance convictions): Joshua Jose Alcoser, 26, of Nyssa, 11:59 p.m. Friday, on Windmill Road; jailed and later released.

FOLLOWING TOO CLOSE: Daniel Lee Dayhoff, 58, of Baker City, 5:05 p.m. Monday, on Highway 30 near Haines; cited and released; police said Dayhoff was cited after investigation of a crash in which Dayhoff was driving distracted and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Megan Amelia McGuinness, 28, of Baker City. Neither driver was injured.
