DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF INTOXICANTS, RECKLESS DRIVING, RECKLESS ENDANGERING and ASSAULT III: Robert Scott Eber, 26, of 31372 Highway 86, 12:19 a.m. Saturday on Sparta Lane near Richland; jailed; Eber was arrested after investigation of a crash in which Eber’s Subaru passenger car overturned and struck a power pole, knocking power lines to the ground. Iris Southwood, 24, of Brookings, a passenger in the car, suffered severe injuries to her left leg and leg arm, a Sheriff’s Department press release stated. She was flown by Life Flight to a Boise-area hospital. More information about her condition was not available in time for this report. Eber was not seriously injured.
