The body of Derrick Austin Coates, a 32-year-old Baker City man missing since July 26, was found today in the Marble Creek area where his car was found on July 27.

Baker County Sheriff Travis Ash said a family member found Coates' body. Family, friends and search and rescue members have spent many hours searching for Coates over the past week. On Sunday a group of 17 people, along with four trained dogs from Idaho, failed to find any sign of Coates.
