Darlene Ayers, 79, of Richland, died June 28, 2018, at her home.
At Darlene’s request, there will be no memorial service.
Darlene was born on April 11, 1939, at Colby, Kansas. She was raised and educated at Brighton, Colorado.
Darlene Married Louis Ayers at Raton, New Mexico. They had just celebrated 62 years together. They raised four daughters.
Darlene worked in agriculture in the early years. Later she worked at Fort Hill Lumber and then she worked at Spirit Mountain Casino. Darlene spent her adult life living in Oroville, Washington, and Dallas, Oregon.
Upon retiring, Darlene and Lou traveled between Quartzsite, Arizona, and Richland, finally settling at Richland.
Darlene was an expert quilter and loved to make beaded jewelry. She loved her two Yorkies, Peanut and Tavi.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindi.
Survivors include her husband, Louis Ayers; daughters, Kathy (Ken) Barnett, Kris and Sheri. She had seven grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
