Lloyd E. Cole: 77, a former Baker City resident, died Oct. 5, 2018, at Bend. Lloyd was a member of the Baker High School Class of 1959. Services will take place in July 2019 and will be announced later.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT II: Matthew Wayne Doud, 25, of Baker City, 12:33 p.m. Sunday, in the 1100 block of Park Street; jailed.

HIT AND RUN: Wednesday Lynn Sontag, 47, of 39449 Pocahontas Road, 6:25 p.m. Sunday, in the 1200 block of Campbell Street; jailed and later released on bail. Police Chief Dustin Newman said Sontag left the Safeway parking lot after crashing her vehicle into a shopping cart return that then struck a parked 2006 Dodge Charger belonging to Steven Porter, 26, of Baker City. Newman said Porter’s vehicle sustained $1,100 in damage.
