Huntington fight

Codie Aaron Rosiere

A Huntington man and his father were both charged with fourth-degree assault Monday after the man’s mother called police and said the two were fighting.

Crystal Lynn Rosiere, 46, called police about 2:49 p.m. and told a dispatcher that her husband and son were fighting in her home at 15 E. Monroe St. in Huntington.

When deputies arrived they could hear screaming from inside. They found two men inside, both with visible injuries.

Deputies arrested the son, Codie Aaron Rosiere, 24, for fourth-degree assault. He was taken to the Baker County Jail.

His father, David Ladell Rosiere, 47, was also cited for fourth-degree assault. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Alcohol appears to be a factor in the altercation, according to a press release from the Baker County Sheriff’s Office.
