Hearings before the Sumpter City Council for three city employees who have been on paid administrative leave since this spring have been postponed.

The hearings were scheduled for Thursday afternoon at Sumpter City Hall.

Sumpter City Recorder Julie McKinney and Public Works Director Jeff McKinney (who is Julie McKinney's husband) have been on paid leave since June 14, and assistant city recorder and bookkeeper LeAnne Woolf has been on paid leave since May 14.

All three were scheduled to go before the City Council Thursday afternoon to respond to allegations regarding their performance.

Woolf said late Wednesday that the hearings had been postponed, but not rescheduled. Sumpter Mayor Greg Lucas confirmed that the hearings will not happen Thursday.
