Baker City, 1983-2019

Travis Levi Culbertson, 36, of Baker City, died July 14, 2019.

His memorial service will take place Wednesday, July 24 at 10 a.m. at Coles Tribute Center, 1950 Place St. Pastor Brad Phillips of the Harvest Church will officiate the service. There will be a reception following at Coles Tribute Center.

Travis was born on July 6, 1983, at Graham, Texas, to Laura Anne Fuzi and James Harvey Culbertson. He attended Baker High School and graduated in 2002. After high school, he took some classes at Treasure Valley Community College and Blue Mountain Community College. He also obtained his Med Tech license. He worked as a caregiver at Settler’s Park Assisted Living Community.

Travis enjoyed spending time with family and friends, writing, playing games with his nephew Gavin, gaming at Gamer Haven and being with people. He loved his work and being in tune to everyone’s needs. He lived out loud and would always say the things everyone else was too afraid to say. He was accomplished in not judging others. He gave the best hugs, they were always filled with so much love.

Survivors include his mom and stepfather, Laura and David Fuzi, his father and stepmother, James and Donita Culbertson, and his sister, Tristin Culbertson, all of Baker City; his sister, Alisha (Fuzi) Joy of Newberg; his brother, Jeremy Fuzi, who is currently in the Navy, his brother, Justin Fuzi of Seattle, and his brothers, Forrest Entermille and Brandon Culbertson, both of Baker City; his nephews, Gavin Errend and Zack Anderson; his nieces, Lily Mae Fuzi, Cadence Anderson, Kaela Anderson and Aurora Entermille.

Travis was joined in death by his good friend Jesse Butler. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thelma Gibbs, Curtis Gibbs, Richard Culbertson and Glenmer Culbertson.
