Baker’s softball team closed its regular season with one close loss to Ontario and one that wasn’t so close on Monday, May 15 at Ontario, but the Bulldogs, due in part to a difficult schedule, have qualified for a Class 4A play-in game.
Baker will travel to Scappoose, northwest of Portland, for a 4 p.m. game on Saturday, May 20. Scappoose is 18-5 overall and 8-4 in the Cowapa League, finishing third in that league. The Indians are ranked sixth in the state.
