BURNS — The Baker boys basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak Tuesday with a 59-47 win over Burns.

Senior Caden Long scored a game-high 21 points as the Bulldogs (3-3 overall) took a 19-10 lead after the first quarter and never trailed thereafter.

Junior Gabe Gambleton added 16 points and senior Riley Flanagan had 10.

Although Baker made only one three-pointer, the Bulldogs had a 10-point edge over the Hilanders at the free throw line, going 16 for 22. Gambleton made 7 of 8 foul shots.

Both the Baker boys and girls will travel to Gladstone Friday to compete in the Gladstone Holiday Tournament.

The girls will play Gladstone at 6 p.m., and the boys take on Gladstone at 7:30 p.m.
