Baker swept Payette in a nonleague tennis match Thursday at Payette.

“All of our kids played outstanding,” said Baker coach Kristin Schwin.

Baker won the girls match 5-0 and the boys 4-1.

Hannah Johnson, Gabbie Treblecock and Andrea Pettit swept the girls singles in straight sets.

Kaylee Dalke and Emma Finley did likewise in the No. 1 doubles match.

Sarah Plummer and Phoebe Wise needed three tie-breakers to claim the second doubles match.

In boys play, Baker’s Zach Schwin, a state qualifier last season, lost the No. 1 singles match to a foreign exchange player from Italy.

Sean Cunningham and Luke Barnes won the other two singles matches.

Isaac Nemec and Alex Davila won the No. 1 doubles. Eli Lien and Anthony Cowan won the No. 2 doubles.

Baker hosts Weiser today at 2 p.m. at the Ash Grove courts.
